Film Description
As always, the Wild West is filled with bandits and thugs. Terrorism flourishes in a small town until the protector of the weak and oppressed, Django, appears. He appears out of nowhere, dragging a coffin with a "secret" on a rope. A difficult mission to protect the oppressed, but, as always, doable, even more so if Django takes over.

I first watched this film in the early 90s, 15 years have passed since then, and now, just recently, I had a lucky chance to see it again.
Sergio Corbucci's film is undoubtedly one of the first prominent representatives of the so-called "spaghetti western", but he also influenced the Action genre overseas in many ways, since the director's numerous finds and the original philosophical component subsequently gave rise to "cliches" of many action films and thrillers ... Don't believe me? It is enough to overlook 15-20 minutes to find here a cult hero with a difficult past, two gangs of thugs with charismatic leaders, and a young beauty who both want to kill.
Here, this story, which is quite common today, filmed for a penny, makes a strong impression. First of all, by how stylish and inimitable it is all filmed. The characters speak English, and you can appreciate the humor and courage of the protagonist in the brilliant performance of Franco Nero, who spits on the bandits in the figurative and literal sense of the word. Only one episode in the tavern, when Django put in place a hypocritical "padre" - a fanatic, a member of a gang of murderers, and then publicly humiliated their leader - is worthy of admiration. And even though I later saw it all a thousand times, Corbucci's style and handwriting can be felt here a mile away. Thank him for that!
It is significant that in "Django" there is also a philosophical component about the search for the true meaning of life, the aimlessness, and sometimes the physical impossibility of looking for permanent monetary gain. Truly a Christian thesis, demonstrated to us a little later in another brilliant western "McKenna's Gold" by Jay Lee Thompson.
In conclusion, it is impossible not to note the most beautiful soundtrack dedicated to the main character. Really takes on the soul, especially in the ending.
Verdict: This is a masterpiece, ladies and gentlemen! And if you haven't seen it, I advise you to find and watch.
