Ho! 4K 1968
François Ollent, whom his hosts call simply “HO!” for short when they call him over, is a classic character from detective films. The humiliation he suffers at the hands of the Schwarz brothers, a pair of swindlers, awakens a dormant pride in his subconscious, which pushes François to take bold but not very well-thought-out actions. Embarking on a path of revenge, he wants to start by achieving “rehabilitation” in the eyes of society. To do this, he forces the corrupt writer Brian, who wrote “compromising material” about him, to make a statement saying that François was not involved in the death of his friend. Brian himself will become the unwitting cause of François' arrest by the police. Fighting back, having lost his beloved girlfriend Bernadette, François directs all his anger at the Schwartz brothers. Only after dealing with them will he surrender to the police.
