A brutal murder is committed in a prestigious college in the Alps, which is investigated by the experienced police commissioner Pierre Niemans.
Meanwhile, in another place there is another, very strange crime - someone digs up and desecrates the grave of a 10-year-old girl. This case is led by a young detective Max Kerkerian.
It seems that there is no connection between these events. But there is. And when the two policemen discover it, the mediocre atrocities they have seen so far gradually pale in comparison to the heart of darkness where their search for the deadly truth will lead them....
