One day, Lindy meets a good guy, instantly falls in love and realizes that life can be beautiful without electric discharges, but someone inadvertently kills her lover. Now all those involved and just casual passers-by will not be very happy.

Let's face it, the annotation alone was frightening - Beckinsale as a bouncer in a bar! Therefore, I proceeded with the viewing with great caution. But how not to watch a brand new film with one of your favorite actresses! Fortunately, the film itself only lasts an hour and twenty, so the test did not turn out to be protracted. But first things first.

The script of this project makes us think once again about the qualifications of Hollywood hacks. He is so stupid, implausible and secondary that it brings melancholy. The initial message is ridiculous - Lindy has an overabundance of cortisol and she throws herself at everyone and brutally beats. Well, yes, Katya, of course, played a superfighter more than once, but then her character was a vampire, which seemed to imply superhuman strength. And here we are offered to believe that a fragile woman is capable of extinguishing hefty pro men on a regular basis.

The plot, meanwhile, begins to unwind with tension. The heroine bleached her hair (and became terribly like Basinger in "9 1/2 weeks"), learned how to cope with attacks of rage with the help of an electric vest, bungled by her psychiatrist. And finally I went on a date, met the guy of my dreams, didn't kill, but for the first time in my life had sex and finished ... it would seem that this is the beginning of a new wonderful life! But the next day the guy was killed and Lindy goes on the warpath ...

I will not expound further events, spoilers are prohibited, but believe me - the logic did not spend the night in them, and an atomic icebreaker will easily pass into the plot holes. Well, yes, in the finale we will see a kind of unexpected turn, only it has already been that way in six hundred and fifty films.

But with the compliance with the new progressive criteria, everything is in order. The film is about a tough woman, filmed by a woman, all the men in the film are downright scum, with only one exception, and one of the roles is transgender. If anyone does not understand, this is a hefty black "aunt" -kop. By the way, he plays disgusting, but now they take such people not for their skill in the cinema.

As for Kate, she looks gorgeous for her 46 years old at the time of filming. She was made up of course, but nonetheless. Perfectly preserved. Only she has nothing to play in general, and the film itself is very so-so. Alas, her career is slowly going downhill, so there is no need to choose roles, but you have to pay the bills. It is a pity of course, but such is life.
