Prince of Darkness 4K 1987

With the help of X-rays, they manage to determine that the vessel is about 7 million years old and, most interestingly, it can only be opened from the inside. There is some incomprehensible substance in it: liquid diamond, created by some mysterious force.

An ancient manuscript states that Satan himself or his spirit rests in this diamond. As a result of experiments, the devil's power, freed from the vessel and scattered in space, begins to settle in researchers, turning them into slaves of Satan.

John Carpenter is the father of a great horror and not only of this genre, but also one of the few representatives of independent cinema who has managed to become a cult author, a cult through time. Why are his pictures "Something" worth - an eternal classic of fantasy with fusions of horror, scolding in cold Antarctica, "Halloween " - a classic slasher and a few more films, which were reviewed by me on an old video recorder in childhood ("Christina", "Fog") I also recommend his music from his films, it is also worthy of attention.

Well, my talk will be about a film that has overtaken me in such a horror, fear in mine then ten years, that I remember the frame forever from it. Got into the brain like a cancer, reminding me of the worst nightmare for me. This is what the "Prince of Darkness" is to me.

I did not want to tell in detail, go into the plot. But I'll open it a bit, here we are given a group of young researchers and researchers who will have to face the unknown. From a meeting with which young people will slightly shake not only the mind, but also their health, in the truest sense of the word. Quick conclusion: The "Prince of Darkness 4K" of 1987 is remembered for its surroundings, the atmosphere and the strongest mysticism. And this is a real author's movie, where the hand of the master Carpenter in everything is strongly felt.
