Catch Me If You Can 4K 2002
Young Frank Abagnale lived in a wonderful family. The most important thing for him was to study and acquire knowledge so that when he grew up, he could follow in his father's footsteps and become an equally useful member of society. However, quite soon, the Abagnale family's life fell apart. Frank Sr. was accused of tax evasion and concealment of income. The family moved to a modest apartment, and Frank Jr. attended a typical American middle school (he had previously studied at a rather prestigious institution). However, Frank Jr. quickly figured out what this life was all about. He decided to get money for free—using his sleight of hand and quick wits. Frank found several ways to steal money from banks using forged checks. In fact, Frank turned stealing money into an art form. Not only did he forge the checks themselves to near perfection, but he also staged the process of cashing them in a very artistic way. Having become quite wealthy, Frank began to live for his own pleasure. He entertained himself, but in a rather peculiar way. Wearing a Pan American pilot's uniform, Frank managed to fly around the world for free. When he got tired of pretending to be a pilot, he decided to become a doctor — and he did, heading the pediatrics department at a hospital (Frank forged the necessary documents, of course). But the young man quickly grew tired of working as a doctor, so Frank then became a lawyer (managing to pass the exams). All this time, he continued to deceive people and receive money through forged checks. However, the law is getting closer and closer to Frank. Detective Carl Hanratty is closely involved in the case of forged bank checks, and despite the fact that Frank has repeatedly eluded Carl, the young swindler will not escape justice...
