While her parents are away, high school girl Trish and her friends decide to have a sleepover. She has no idea that a maniac named Russ Thorne, who killed five people in 1969 and recently escaped from a mental institution, has already armed himself with a drill bit and is creeping closer and closer.

A very worthy representative of slashers! It has everything that I personally appreciate. Very beautiful nudity in large numbers. Very original drill murders and lots of gory scenes. Gruesome suspense and an abundance of sharp moments. Beautiful actresses, professional and realistic acting. A competently staged plot that delights throughout the entire film.

Beautiful directing and cameraman's work make the movie very memorable. Perfectly chosen angles, shooting manner, absence of shaking camera, and many other advantages of visuals affect the movie in the most positive way. The camera follows the characters in the corridors of the movie, creating and building the atmosphere of harassment, in the moments of murders in the video sequences get the most creepy and valuable shots, making the horror movie horror movie.

The script is delightful! A very interesting plot, the development of which you watch with particular trepidation and tension, waiting to see what will happen next. At the same time, you get an abundance of spectacle, suspense, and sudden scary scenes. Real old-school and classic format of the genre, the whole essence of eighties horror is gathered here in all its glory.

And with all that, the set of these elements of traditional 80's slashers is not a punny unconnected flow, but on the contrary, it fits the scenario about the escaped maniac and the night bachelorette party coherently and successfully. A scary story that can be told around a campfire, that you can watch alone or in large company.

Just a masterpiece! There are simply no downsides to the film. The escaped maniac looks really crazy. The drill murders are an incredibly original find! Accompanying all this bloodbath, great music. Lots of beautiful girls and nudity. One of the best slashers I've seen!
