Nightmare Alley 4K 2021 B&W Extended Director's Cut and Theatrical Cut

The fatalism of noir takes on a seductive form in Guillermo del Toro's Nightmare Alley. It is a dirty portrait of America on the eve of World War II, where the world is a vicious carnival. Bradley Cooper's character, Stan Carlisle, goes from being a handyman in a circus to a fake mentalist who preys on the rich. His path of deception raises the question of the price of success. With an all-star cast (Cate Blanchett, Toni Collette, Willem Dafoe) and four Oscar nominations, the film plunges into the illusory abyss of the American dream.
