Detective William Somerset is working his last week before retiring - his name has even been scraped off the office door. He is replaced by a young and hot detective David Mills, who has five years of practice in another city, but is still inferior in everything to the experienced Somerset. And then it turns out that the first murder, on which they leave together, opens a whole chain of deeds not yet known maniac. Conditionally named John Doe, he kills those who, in his opinion, guilty of one of the seven deadly sins. And every time he leaves clues for the police that could lead to the next victim, as if he wants to be stopped.
