Josh Porter has known Tiffany since childhood, and their friendship naturally blossoms into love. But the couple's feelings are put to the test when they go their separate ways after entering college: she studies in Austin, Texas, and he in Ithaca, 1,800 miles away from Austin. It's understandable that Josh is unable to remain faithful. But what's most unpleasant is that his wild night with Beth, the acknowledged beauty of the college, was recorded on video, and the tape was accidentally sent to Tiffany by his careless friends.
