Mimic 4K 1997 Director's Cut

A disease for which there is neither vaccine nor antidote is raging in New York. And the carriers of the disease are ordinary cockroaches, which, naturally, have flooded the entire city. Unable to contain the disease, people decide to destroy its carriers, for which purpose a subspecies called “Judas” is bred through genetic mutations; its secretions poison the cockroaches. Judas is genetically “programmed” to die in two or three months, but three years later, people begin to disappear in the city, and all clues lead to basements and sewers. Messing with genetics doesn’t go unpunished: instead of quietly dying, Judas mutated into a giant cockroach that needs humans to survive, and apparently lives in the depths of the subway, where, by a twist of fate, a group of very different people ends up.
