Rouge 4K 1987

The story begins in the 1930s, when a love story unfolds between Fleur, a high-class prostitute, and Chan Chen Pang, the wealthy son of respected parents. They seem to love each other, but the circumstances surrounding them are so opposed to their relationship that they can only be together in the best of all possible worlds—which is where they intend to go, having made a pact to take their own lives. But while Fleur goes through with it, Chan Chen Pang cannot bring himself to do so and chooses to carry on living. And Fleur’s ghost, doomed to wander in anticipation of her beloved, reappears in the world of the living in the 1980s, where she meets a young couple who decide to help her find Chan Chen Pang, who is still alive.
