The 1970s. Fifteen-year-old Jeanne dreams of leaving the orphanage and discovering the world. After running away to the city of lights, she finds refuge in a hangar. In the morning, a dazzling woman appears before her. The hangar turns out to be a studio where they are filming a movie based on Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale “The Snow Queen.” Christina, the star playing the queen, reigns supreme on set. Enchanted by this woman with a frightening charm, who is both powerful and vulnerable, Jeanne becomes her protégé and confidante, but the trap snaps shut before her.
