The Farmer 4K 1977

Former soldier Kyle Martin returns to his hometown and intends to take up farming. But buying a farm on credit proves to be unprofitable, as all his earnings go toward paying interest, and the bank, despite his service to the country, refuses to lower the rate. One day, local gangster Johnny gets into a car accident near his farm, and Kyle saves him by pulling him out of the burning car. In gratitude, Johnny gives the farmer $1,500. But even that is not enough to save the farm from imminent foreclosure.
