In a big American city, little Jesse and his parents read a fairy tale about a prince from Wonderland. But when a real Tibetan monk, Lama Norbu, comes to their home, life turns out to be more wonderful than any book. Norbu is convinced that Jesse is a new incarnation of the Buddha, who two thousand years ago bore the name of Prince Siddhartha. Having known pain and suffering, Siddhartha was imbued with a spiritual desire to lead people from the darkness of ignorance to the heights of enlightenment.
