And the film is really about women and how they perceive the world in general, how they love and how they suffer... In some places, the movie is hilarious and it's like a tragi-farce, you can't understand if you're being tricked or if it's serious. You don't know how to react. But the film is absolutely crazy, if you take any, even the most ordinary family, and look at the section, you will find cockroaches everywhere, and even what cockroaches! So everyone without exception, every house has its secrets and closets with skeletons, that is the main charm of this movie, as it seems to me.

The theme of incest is shown in the film without any nagging, bombastic dramatism and in general very intelligently. If you want to draw public attention to some important problem, you don't have to shout on every corner and make pathos speeches. With this task the director coped with 10 points!

Brilliantly beautiful Penelope Cruz - just great, above all praise, a pity that the Oscar did not go to her and not Helen Mirren (not to belittle her game, but PA deserved more, in my opinion).

All in all, this is the summary - the movie is excellent, from the 'must see' category. Enjoy it!
