Charade 4K 1963

Peter Joshua, who has recently met Regina Lampert, offers his help when she learns that her husband was killed under mysterious circumstances. After her husband’s funeral, Regina is summoned to the U.S. Embassy in Paris, where her friend Bartholomew, who works there, informs her that during the war, her late husband was involved in the theft of $250,000 and that the other participants in that scheme are eager to claim their share. When three men who attended the funeral begin to stalk Regina, she finally accepts Peter’s help. Peter then confesses that he is actually Alexander Dil, the brother of the fourth accomplice in the gold heist. As the hunters of this “war trophy” begin to die one by one, it becomes increasingly difficult for Regina to figure out who she can trust.
