Farmer Vincent Smith and his sister Ida run a small motel and have gained a reputation for their homemade smoked meat a signature delicacy whose secret is best left unknown. Vincent stages car accidents, captures the survivors, buries them up to their necks in a secret garden, and fattens them up before slaughter they are the filling for his famous sausages. When a young woman named Terry survives one of the traps and Vincent falls in love with her, the family business begins to fall apart.
