Quatermass 2 4K 1957

Professor Quatermass receives news of a meteor shower that has passed over a remote area of England. Arriving there with his colleague Marsh, Quatermass discovers a large and well-guarded scientific complex in the wilderness, and later finds one of the meteorites. When Marsh is injured by a substance released from the meteorite, armed men arrive from the complex and take Marsh away without explanation. After that, Quatermass decides to find out what exactly the scientists working there are doing.
