The Two Jakes 4K 1990

This film is a direct sequel to Roman Polanski's famous film Chinatown. Private detective Jake Gittes is hired by Jake Birman, who suspects his wife of infidelity. While protecting Birman's interests, Gittes unexpectedly encounters shadows from the past and the daughter of the woman he loved and lost in the film Chinatown. Unraveling a murder case motivated by jealousy, Jake uncovers the deeper causes of a seemingly ordinary crime, which are rooted in oil and the enormous profits associated with it.
