A widowed mother goes on her first date in years to an expensive restaurant, where she is relieved to discover that her companion, Henry, is much more charming and handsome than she expected. Their chemistry falls apart when the widowed mother begins to get annoyed, and then she is terrorized by a series of anonymous messages on her phone, advising her not to tell anyone and to follow instructions, otherwise the mysterious figure she sees on her home security cameras will destroy her young son and nanny. Now the main character must do exactly as she is told, or everyone she loves will die.
