Married to the Mob 4K 1988

A gangster romantic comedy in which Michelle Pfeiffer plays Angela DeMarco, the widow of a professional hitman killed by his own boss, Tony Russo, nicknamed “The Tiger,” for sleeping with his mistress. After her husband's death, Angela intends to change her previous life, which she hates: her son is already stealing the last pennies from his classmates; the house she lives in is paid for with “blood money”; her livelihood comes from a gang of gangsters. As a result, she abandons everything and flees with her seven-year-old son to the slums of New York to start a new, respectable life in obscurity and poverty. However, it turns out to be much more difficult than she initially thought. Angela is followed to New York by Russo, who wants to make her his mistress, and FBI agent Michael Downey, who mistakenly believes that Angela is going to get involved with Russo. To top it all off, Angela is also pursued by the jealous Connie Russo, who sees her as the main reason for her husband's infidelity.
