On the Silver Globe 4K 1988

The astronauts land on the moon, their ship breaks down, and they are forced to follow the lifeless surface forward, losing their humanity and hope of return along the way. They subsequently give rise to a new civilization of pagans who have made a religion out of memories and finally lost their humanity. They exterminate the strange and frightening Shern, who are the original inhabitants of the moon.
