Film Description
The film tells the story of the creation of one of the most popular social networks on the Internet - Facebook. The resounding success of this network among users around the world forever changed the lives of fellow students at Harvard University, who founded it in 2004 and within a few years became the youngest multimillionaires in the United States.

Once a century, a genius appears in the world with an incredible idea that changes everything around. Mark Zuckerberg - the creator of the social network Facebook, became the youngest billionaire in history. The main difference between Facebook and the social networks that existed at that time was precisely the possibility of contact. Zuckerberg offered people an easy and convenient way to share information about each other. The purpose of the site was not to find new friends, but to conveniently maintain connections with old ones. It is clear that, first of all, real communities - schools and universities - need such a service. But in order to succeed, Facebook had to interest everyone else. Mark Zuckerberg launched his website the year after the start of MySpace, but beat all competitors in the main. He managed to attract to the network not only nerds and Internet maniacs, but also the rest of the web audience. Zuckerberg made his billions, it would seem, on very simple things - the natural need of people to communicate and on their desire for fame, thanks to the availability of certain services and the multifunctionality of this Internet resource.

David Fincher's new film is always a big event for lovers of something unusual and unique. His tapes have a special atmosphere, style, transferred to the image of a large American city with subtle color schemes, which very powerfully influences the perception of what is happening on the screen. But who expected Fincher to see a movie about the social network, based on Ben Mezrich's controversial Billionaires, in collaboration with embittered former Facebook CFO Eduardo Severin?

Although we are still talking about cinema, and therefore one should not perceive the film as a true chronicle of the formation of Facebook. In fact, the main advantage of this picture is the detailed images of the characters, due to the chic selection of actors. Throughout most of the film, the characters are in conversation, sitting at tables in clubs, offices, court buildings ... Intellectually rich dialogues, fueled by a healthy dose of great humor and sarcasm, are also one of the main parts of the film's success. Overall, the film aims to awaken sympathy for the man who became the youngest billionaire, bereaved of his personal life and best friends. Having achieved unprecedented achievements, it is damn hard to remain yourself, to maintain friendship, the trust of loved ones, without becoming a selfish, greedy person. Fame fell on Zuckerberg at a fairly early age, when he had not yet had time to finish college. Now he has a rather capricious character, not wanting work to interfere with the usual daily routine. But at the same time, he is a rather modest person, an excellent programmer, a demanding boss, an effective speaker, as well as a talented manager and psychologist who managed to create a virtual world inhabited by tens of millions of people who are driven by the need to post information about every event in their life, in the desire to feel your significance. Of course, Mark is an amazing person ...

Honestly, before seeing Fincher's new work, there were big questions about the cast. To my great surprise, the acting trio of the main characters, Jesse Eisenberg (Mark Zuckerberg), Andrew Garfield (Eduardo Severin) and Justin Timberlake (Sean Parker), are confidently moving towards Oscar nominations. Eisenberg is simply inimitable! Finally the boy was allowed to open up. Jesse's character is unusually versatile and evokes a huge range of different emotions - from disgust to boundless respect. He manages to make the audience empathize with the main character, but still not feel sorry for him - this is very important. Andrew Garfield got, perhaps, the most believable, charismatic and emotional character. I can say that you don't have to worry about the new Spider-Man, Garfield is just great. Well, and of course, Timberlake proved that he is not only a talented vocalist, but also a great future awaits him in the acting field. Justin is also incomparable, terribly sweet and eloquent.
