The style of his approach to the creation of his works, for me personally, is one of a kind and I trust with complete confidence his future projects, which will surely still be. District 9 is a masterpiece of its genre; 'Elysium: Heaven is not on Earth' also turned out to be a rather tasty and interesting dish, it's a pity - for some reason it's completely underestimated by critics. And now Chappie is approaching, which adheres to the same level and is not nearly inferior to its predecessors.

The plot is focused on the future. A future in which all police officers are largely replaced by robots that enforce the law, guaranteeing clean and trouble-free operation. But it would seem that everything is so wonderful when suddenly a scientist comes into the hands of a criminal gang, who after a long time has developed an invaluable scheme of work, thanks to which robots will acquire artificial intelligence. This scheme has not yet been put into action, and judging by the circumstances, now for the first time he will have to demonstrate this scheme for these thugs, who will obviously not use it for good deeds ..

South African rap-rave group Die Antwoord Yolandi and Jones, who are wild fans of Neil Blomkamp's work, starred in this film by playing themselves like their muses. group. The roles were given to them quite well, although for any serious roles they are unlikely to be suitable anywhere, and playing cutthroat idiots, and even with such an appearance, is not a problem for them. Hugh Jackman, who first played the role of a villain, is most likely a minor character who played a former warrior with his cockroaches in his head. This image was given to him well, although, to be honest, it is unusual to look at him in such a format.

The beginning may seem like it comes with some kind of haste, but a little closer to the middle everything is normalized and there is a feeling when there is absolutely no reason or desire to come off the screen. In some places, in some scenes, it was purely humanly pity for Chappy to the core, it also turned out to be an opportunity in relation to the gang, which should seem to be perceived only from the negative side, but at the same time you understand that you do not want them to be killed as soon as possible, or that something like that

Outcome - Unconditionally high-quality and well-done work of the director with a fascinating plot that stands out from the crowd. Spectacular, partly funny, quite emotional and interesting movie, after watching which Chappy will definitely become one of the favorites for many. The costume and set designers did their best, thus pleasing the eye of the moviegoer with a whole palette of different colors changing one after another. The gorgeous soundtrack, merging with the whole atmosphere, also gave the film an inseparable sharpness of everything that happened, and the cast did nothing but add fuel to the fire, distinguished themselves well with their acting and very unusual appearance.
